Mirfield v Wetherby Monday 11th May 2026

Triples,

Shirley, Steve and Mark got off to a slow start and were losing 6-0 after only 2 ends.

But with some excellent pointing from Steve and sharp shooting from Shirley clawed the game back to 6 all.

This gave us the momentum to keep winning ends to earn a 13-9 victory

Lucy, Diane and Harry all played superb petanque as a team to enjoy a resounding 13-1 victory

So 2-0 Mirfield at the break

Doubles

Shirley and Mark had an indifferent game losing 4-13

Diane and Harry continued their great form from the triples and came back from a 9-11 deficit with some great pointing and shooting to win the game 13-11

Lucy and Steve played outstanding to win their game 13- 7

So Mirfield won the match 4-1,well played everyone
