Day before Valentine's Day Pairs Competition

On a beautifully sunny and warm February afternoon the Valentine Pairs event took place.

There were 30 members present with married couples and partners playing together and pairs were randomly drawn.

The competition was keenly fought over three rounds with only one partnership failing to register a winning game.

In third place with two wins and a score of +10 points were Christine Whitehead and Michael Tan.

Runners up were Lucy and Steve Sharp with three wins and +9.

But, the convincing winners were Sue Burnett and Kevin Hepworth with three wins and +23.

Congratulations to Sue and Kevin.
