Following the last game of the 2025 West Yorkshire League at Leeds in which Mirfield lost 1 -4, Harrogate beat Wetherby 3 - 2 which means Mirfield has finished second in the league this year. Our best result ever.
Well done Mirfield.
On the 15th July Mirfield played Leeds once more in a Cup match but unfortunately could not exact revenge losing again 4 - 1 to Leeds.
To celebrate the glorious weather we have been having lately it was decided to have an al fresco Fish and Chip Feast following Friday play. Tony and Jackie very kindly organised things. Jackie took orders and Tony fetched the meals from Mirfield Fisheries. Well done you two.
An excellent way to end a sunny Friday afternoon.
By Friday the diggers will have leveled Harry’s Hill preparatory to the construction of the new terrains. Today we bid it a fond farewell, I attach the photo for your perusal.
